Define the "Scope of Use"
In the commercial world, "usage" defines the price. I need to know:
The Medium:
Is this for a film, promoted Instagram ad, a corporate website, or regional broadcast TV?
The Territory:
Where will this be seen? (e.g., UK only, North America, or Worldwide?)
The Term:
How long will the campaign run? (e.g., 3 months, 1 year, or "In Perpetuity"?)
Technical Requirements
In some cases I can deliver higher-quality files, but let me know if you need specific formats:
File Type: do you need multiple versions 24-bit WAV, but let me know if you need MP3 for a rough cut.
Stems: Do you need the individual layers (just the bass, just the synth) to edit around a voiceover?
